Original Acrylic on Canvas, 2020.

In English, the flowering tree. This painting is in fact just a way to show us a typical Parisian archictecture, behind the flowering tree. The style of architecture is called Haussmanian,  named after Baron Haussman. The addition of the metro and the city’s Haussman expansion paved the way for Paris to become the international city it is today. All buildings are made of pierre de taille: this is a light gray hewn stone with its quintessential decorative flourishes. Paris is monumental, both due to its size but also its wealth of architecture.  It is a major pull for tourists. The main reason people love France is that this tiny country has some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, world-class art and architecture, sensational food, open-minded beautiful persons, fashion, stunning beaches, glitzy ski resorts, beautiful countryside, kindness, security, and a staggering amount of history.
